Raiders wide receiver Michael Crabtree (15) had a productive day in Oakland's 17-10 victory over the Tennessee Titans in Nashville on Sunday afternoon. Crabtree gained 102 yards on eight receptions and picked up several new sets of downs. Adding to his effectiveness, Crabtree has caught three or more passes in 20 straight games.

San Francisco Giants veteran catcher Buster Posey, seen here during a home game earlier in the year, singled in the top of the third inning against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park on Sunday, September 25, driving in the Giants' second and third runs of the game. But it wasn't enough, as the Padres would come from behind and win, 4-3. With the Los Angeles Dodgers winning at home against the Colorado Rockies, the Giants' hopes for a National League West title would slip away, leaving only a Wild Card spot as a possible entry into the National League playoffs. The New York Mets are likely to win one of those spots, and the Giants will attempt to fend off the St. Louis Cardinals this week for the other.
