Ladies' Weekend Craft Retreat
November 4-6, 2016
Choose between creating cards and gifts using stamps, assorted papers and trims; preserving memories by making scrapbooks; quilting; knitting; crocheting; etc.. Retreat leader Joan Voigt will lead hands-on workshops throughout the weekend, including Creative Quick Scrapbook kits, cards and stamping, and Make-and-Take projects.
Workshop supplies will be provided; additional cash and carry supplies, embellishments, papers, stamps, inks and adhesives will be available for purchase from Joan’s Mini-Store.
Surprises, treats, and gift drawings will be held throughout the weekend!
Arrival & sign-in begins at 4pm Friday afternoon; check-out is 11:30am Sunday morning. When you arrive, you will be given table space to call your own for the entire retreat.
Lodging is dormitory-style (restroom & shower facilities centrally located) in the attached Krueger Center. Each of the 14 rooms holds 2 twin beds and 1 set of bunk beds, a desk, and closet space.
Meals provided are: Friday Dinner at 6pm, Saturday Breakfast at 8am, Lunch at 12 noon, Dinner at 6pm, and Sunday Breakfast at 9am. Coffee and tea are available throughout your stay, and soda may be purchased. A refrigerator is also available for your snacks, fruit, yogurt, or other beverages.
Prices are based on the number of ladies who wish to share a room. Every attempt will be made to honor room-mate requests.
