Learn to connect in meaningful ways and make every communication experience an opportunity for a powerful connection. This is a half-day workshop based on the book entitled, "Everyone Communicates, Few Connect" by John C. Maxwell. Topics Include: Connecting Increases Your Influence in Every Situation, Connecting is All About Others, Connecting Goes Beyond Words, Connecting Always Requires Energy, Connecting is More Skill Than Natural Talent.
This workshop will help anyone become a better public speaker. Starting with introductions the participants will get stage time, stage time stage time! We will learn how to stand and hold our hands like professional speakers. We will have twenty things "never to do in a speech!" We will create a framework for memorizing any speech so you can speak without notes. If time and technology permits we will also video participants and provide instant feedback on their performance. And, of course, you will get strategies for writing a speech, storytelling, and personal coaching to improve their delivery in one day.
Jeff Torrans is an award winning public speaker with more than twenty years paid speaking experience. He has been trained by the like of John C. Maxwell, Roddy Galbraith and Paul Martinelli on the art and science of public speaking.
