A Look Back at September's Events

The weather was perfect for our 2016 Street Dance! People came early and stayed late. Fun was had by all ages.  Many thanks to the Village of Wauconda, the Wauconda Police Dept, the Wauconda Fire District, Wauconda Public Works, the Wauconda Park District, the Local Talent, the Vendors, the Sponsors, the Volunteers, and the Community for making Street Dance one of the most anticipated events in the Wauconda Area.

Some of our four legged friends joined us for the Women In Business Council luncheon at Gypsy Glen K-9 Castle.  The guests got a chance to run around and go for a swim in the lake while the ladies enjoyed their networking activities, some great food, and a tour of the kennel.

We had a great turnout for the Business After Hours hosted by Threads.  Threads served wonderful food by their neighbors Honey Hill Coffee Company and 1878 Legacy. Guests were able to network AND shop some great fashions.  Threads - they've got you covered.

A great big thank you to the vendors and dedicated market fans who braved the windy, chilly, rainy fall Farmers' Market.  The kids really enjoyed pumpkin painting while folks shopped the mini market that lined the sidewalks.  We are really looking forward to the 2017 market year.  Thanks for your support and a huge thank you to our sponsors!

A brief update of current activities and an introduction of new members takes place along with networking. These BAH mixers provide an excellent opportunity for the host business to showcase their goods and/ or services.; The host business provides refreshments.
