Updated! Fall Festival Needs
The deadline to bring in puppy chow ingredients has been extended to Monday! We still need 108 boxes of Crispix (name brand or Schnuck's brand), 40 lbs of powdered sugar, and especially 73 lbs of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Please consider picking up these items with your weekend shopping. We will be assembling the puppy chow on Wednesday morning at Haub's. If you'd like to volunteer to help or to work in the Fall Festival booth, click the link below!

Gnome Night
In an effort to connect art with nature and celebrate the creative spirit of childhood, Evansville Day School's Primary School will display student-created artwork in an outdoor art exhibit along the woodland trails of campus. Students from junior pre-kindergarten through sixth grade have spent recent art classes designing and creating the whimsical art. The evening also includes a special theatrical performance, The Wily Will-o-the-Wisp, by Upper School students.

Visitors may also catch a glimpse of Ted, Evansville Day School's Gnome-in-Residence, along with his nemesis, Jack. Follow the adventures via twitter  @TedatEDS.

Please join us for Gnome on the Range, an exciting evening of dinner and activities for the entire family.

TEDx Evansville
TEDx Evansville will take place on Saturday, October 1 at the Evansville Museum. Evansville Day School will be well represented at the event, including parent and board member Jenn Schultheis, who is the TEDxEvansville Curatorial Team Lead. Day School parents slated to speak are:

Omar Atia, ThoughtFire - "The Truthful Patriot"

Dr. Jill Griffin, University of Evansville - "Changemaker Math and the Art of Critical Doing"

Jarin Jaffee, Evansville Day School - "Taking the Extra out of Extracurriculars"
