St. Francis Day and Blessing of the Animals next Saturday, October 1

Blessing of the Animals We will celebrate the Blessing of the Animals beginning at 10 am next Saturday, October 1, in the parking lot of the Church.

This short gathering will include each pet receiving a blessing from Fr. David, a St. Francis medallion, a pet bandanna and treats for animals and humans alike.

Any pet is appropriate for blessings, from spiders to horses and all creatures in-between.  Even a child's "stuffed pet" is welcome for blessings  This event will also recognize the loss of a pet companion who is remembered and missed.
