Freshman Retreat

A big thank you to everyone who helped to make the Freshman Retreat a success.

Saturday morning students arrived for the retreat not knowing that in the chapel we had parents, students and faculty praying for them.  Thank you to everyone who came and prayed for our freshman class.  It was a very special moment on our campus.  The freshmen spent the day and evening participating in a variety of spiritual and class bonding activities. They ended the day with a movie and popcorn. The freshmen boys spent the night playing Dodge Ball with Mr. Cobb in the gym! Sunday morning, we celebrated a special Mass for the freshman class and their parents.

Sadly , Congressman McCarthy will have to look for a new district director because Vince is running for State Assembly for the 34th District and has already won the Republican Primary and headed toward victory come November. Parents and students are welcome to grab a lunch and join Vince in the ASB room on October 4th at 12:30. If you would like to be a speaker or know of other community leaders that would be great for this type of speaking event, please contact [email protected]

Asst. Principal of Academic Affairs

Dear Parents,

We are now well into the first semester of our 2016-17 school year. The first progress reports were posted on net classroom, we celebrated the achievement of over sixty students at our Fall Underclassmen Awards Program, our seniors are deep into their college applications for the upcoming year and hopefully, we have seen our last triple digit day for the year!  Additionally, we have the upcoming All School Testing Day for freshmen, sophomores and juniors on October 19, 2016, 8:00 am - 11:30 am. Seniors do not test on this day and are excused from school. Students will be in regular school uniform as opposed to formal dress for that day.

Finally, in order to participate in extracurricular activities, students are expected to maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher and maintain passing grades in their classes.  Eligibility for the next grading period will be declared October 24th, one week following the posting of quarter grades.  Please do not wait until mid-October to check on your student's progress as by then it may be too late and result in a huge disappointment to them if they are unable to compete in the playoffs, winter sports, dances, or other activities.  If you have any concerns, please discuss them with teachers, counselors, and coaches. We wish to see all our students succeed in all endeavors.
