A new optional program is available for family or individual tribute placements in the 2017 yearbook. In the past, these tributes were available as part of the patron ad fee, which was replaced this year by our CJ Sponsorship Program. The CJ Sponsorship Program is available for businesses and organizations who wish to show support for CJ. If you would like more details about sponsorship options for your business, please contact Alex Vandersluijs via email.

At this time, we are taking orders for those options available for family or individual yearbook tributes:
Tribute Line (45-character maximum) available for $65
Partial-Page tributes may be purchased as follows;
1/8 th page (3.25"w x 2"h) available for $100
1/4 th page (3.25"w x 4"h) available for $175
1/2    page (6.5"w x 4"h) available for $240
Full-Page  tributes available for $400

An order form is provided here and should be submitted with payment to CJ, including a copy of your requested tribute placement, no later than March 30, 2017.

God bless, and Go Eagles!

Graduation Requirements for the
Classes of 2018 and Beyond
There have been many changes in recent years regarding high school graduation requirements in Ohio. The biggest changes are those regarding graduation tests. These changes began with the class of 2018 and will continue for future classes. CJ has been diligently learning about and preparing the students for these changes.

On Wednesday, Oct. 19, John Marshall and Steve Fuchs will explain the graduation requirements to parents in a presentation during the break time in parent-teacher conferences (4-5 p.m.). You are invited to attend this presentation to learn more about the requirements. There will be a repeat of this presentation from 7-8 p.m. for those unable to attend the earlier one. Both presentations will take place in the gym.

MINISTRY & SERVICE

From the Chaplain's Office
Next week, we continue our whole class masses with the sophomores  on Monday and the freshman class on Tuesday. These masses bring the whole class together during an extended homeroom to hear the Word of God and be nourished by the Eucharist. Let us all pray that these two classes might be strengthened by the love of God as they continue their Christian journeys at CJ.

Traditionally, the month of October is dedicated to Mary, the Mother of God. As a school founded by two religious orders specially dedicated to Mary, this month is a great opportunity to renew our relationship with Mary. Perhaps you can decide to start each day by reciting the Hail Mary or another favorite Marian prayer. Or your family could set aside some time to pray the Rosary together. Or you could read the story of the Annunciation in Luke 1:26-38. Let us all ask Mary, Our Lady, to intercede for our CJ community.
