Celebrate Park City's Olympic Legacy with special guests, games, prizes and balloons by Bobber the Clown to keep future Olympians entertained. Entry is free. Food available from the Bridge Café & Grill and beer garden sponsored by Red Rock Brewery. Proceeds from food and beverage purchases benefit the Youth Sports Alliance and its Get Out & Play programs. SCHOLARSHIPS SEND 27 TO POST-SEASON COMPETITIONS YSA awarded $12,250 to 27 athletes competing for YSA teams to participate in post-season competition, bringing the total number of scholarships awarded to 76 for YSA athletes. Competitive athletes were granted $42,250 this year, a record level of support. In addition, 174 Scholarships were granted to elementary students to participate in Get Out & Play, the introductory after school sports program. Last year, the Stein Eriksen YSA Opportunity Endowment was established to to create an opportunity for every child to participate. Halfway through the endowment campaign, $1.3 million of its $2 million goal have been raised. Epic Promise (Vail Resorts' charitable giving arm) and Deer Valley are supporting the endowment at the Gold Level. Learn more about the endowment here. |

GET OUT & PLAY ADDS MOUNTAIN BIKING THIS SPRING We are proud to announce Get Out & Play Beginning Mountain Biking to 3rd through 5th graders in the Park City School District! The program is slated for the first four Fridays in May and will be coached by Young Riders. Registrants will receive a Camelbak and free bicycle safety check at Jans. "PAVE THE WAY" FOR YOUTH ATHLETES TO FOLLOW THEIR DREAMS The Youth Sports Alliance has been chosen as a beneficiary by Intermountain Healthcare to raise funds by selling engraved pavers to line the walkways in the newly created (and free) community garden at Park City Medical Center. 100% of funds raised from paver sales will help fund Youth Sports Alliance sports teams and the Get Out & Play after school program.
