Mid and High School Student
Sundays and Wednesdays
Middle School and High School Students - All Middle and High School students are encouraged and welcomed to hang out with our Assistant to the Rector, Philip Ryan, during Sunday School. They will meet in the youth room in the back of the Gabard building. Also, they will meet Wednesday evenings starting this Wednesday, the 21st. They will attend the 6:00PM service and eat with the rest of the church afterwards before going to have their own teaching and fellowship.
Episcopal College Fellowship
Episcopal College Fellowship - Christ Church's college ministry has started meeting. On Thursday, the 22nd, we began a weekly Bible study at Louttit Hall. Bible study begins at 8PM and they are studying Ephesians. All college students are welcome to attend.

Also, we've decided to change the name from Canterbury Club to Episcopal College Fellowship. Many students, even some Episcopalians, may not understand the reference to Canterbury. The name change makes it easier for students to connect with Christ Church and doesn't require as much explanation upfront.
Friday Morning Bible Study
Friday, September 30, 2016 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Friday Morning Bible Study  -- We will continue the Friday morning Bible study (10:30-11:30) on September 30, 2016.  We are studying the Gospel according to Luke. All are welcome!
Oktoberfest
Thursday, October 20, 2016 beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Oktoberfest this year is Thursday, October 20th, with the biergarten opening at 6:00 p.m. and dinner served around 7:00. On the menu: Usinger's bratwurst from Milwaukee, potato salad and tossed salad, sauerkraut and other pickled things, rye bread, and beer and wine. Cost will be $10 per person. Please note that this is an adult gathering for those 21 and older (please have proof of age with you). No nursery will be provided. Since Jane needs to know how many bratwurst to order, please sign up before October 6th. There is a sign-up sheet in the parish hall, or you can call the church office to leave your name. If you'd like to contribute by bringing potato salad (German or "regular") or sauerkraut, there's a sign-up sheet for that as well in the parish hall. Danke schön!
20's & 30's Group
Saturday, October 22, 2016 beginning at 6:00 p.m.
20's & 30's Group are invited for food, fun and fellowship at the Rectory on Saturday, October 22nd beginning at 6:00 p.m.  The main course and drinks will be provided; each participant is asked to bring a side dish, salad or dessert.

The Gabard Building will be open and staffed for nursery and/or childcare. Dinner will be provided for them as well.
Lunch Bunch
Saturday, October 1, 2016 beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Lunch Bunch will be on Saturday, October 1st.

The Christ Church Valdosta Lunch Bunch feeds 120 or more hungry children every first and third Saturday of the month. Workers from the church as well as other members of the community who volunteer gather at 11 a.m. at Christ Church to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. They pack them in plastic bags, then brown paper bags with logo stickers together with chips, fruit, juice and other healthy goodies purchased from the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Please join us, on any 1st or 3rd Saturday.
Haven
Can you help the Haven? The women are in need of toiletries and personal items like toothpaste, soaps, lotions, brushes & combs, etc., both regular and travel size.   There is a basket for the Haven collection in the Parish Hall.  Thank you for your help in supporting this Ministry.
Photo Albums -- They're Back!
From 2016 through 2010 so far
Our collection of online photograph albums is once again accessible. The storage location recently changed from Google Picasa to Google Photos, and links to the albums had to be re-established. All of the albums back to 2010 are now linked, and work continues on the older albums. To access them now, go to the photograph index page below on the church's website:
