Online Engagement Forum

On September 26, Edina Public Schools (EPS) will be launching a new online engagement tool to gather input from all members of EPS community. The three-part virtual conversation, called ThoughtExchange, will collect ideas and allow district decision makers as well as participants to learn what community members value and prioritize on a variety of topics.

See the Edina Hornet Marching Band perform their Half Time Show at Kuhlman Stadium on Tuesday, September 27th.  Admission is free; concessions will be available.  Gates open at 6:00pm and the 360+ member Edina Marching Band takes the field at 6:30pm.

Edina Community Center, room 165. 

The clinic is being held by the Bloomington Public Health Department. 
Persons must be 6 months of age or older.   Note that flumist (intranasal vaccine) is not available this year,  as it is no longer recommended by the CDC. 
Be sure to bring your insurance card or Medicare Part B to the clinic. 
Most insurance plans are accepted.

The Writer's Block

The Block is a writing center staffed by English teachers and trained student writing coaches who work with students in one-on-one conferences to help them grow as writers.  We are available for face-to-face conferences during lunch or for online conferences in the evening.

Edina High School earns national recognition as a 21st Century Learning Exemplar,  a P21 signature program
 
EHS received this honor for exemplary 21st century learning practices in preparing students for success in college, career, and life. It is the first high school in Minnesota to earn the designation.

National Merit Semifinalists

Edina Public Schools is pleased to announce that 14 Edina High School seniors have been named 2017 National Merit Semifinalists. These students are among 16,000 nationwide who will compete for about 7,500 National Merit Scholarships offered next spring.

Part Time Job Opportunities

There is an urgent need for out-of-school-time recreation leaders in the district's before and after school programs through Community Education Services. 

Several positions are available at district elementary schools and at South View Middle School.  There are a variety of hours in both morning and afternoon programs available. Rec leaders help supervise group activities and assist in the planning and implementation of activities.
