The National Association For State Community Services Programs (NASCSP) released the 2014 Annual Report
The NASCSP 2014 Annual Report summarizes key data collected from the 2013 CSBG IS Survey. The report highlights how the Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) funded network of States and local CAAs assisted individuals and families to overcome economic hardship and transition from a crisis to a thriving state. Over 1,000 organizations participated in the survey.

"NASCSP 2015 Mid-Winter Training Opportunities"

When:  Monday, February 23, 2015 - Friday, February 27, 2015

 A valuable opportunity for professionals from around the country to come together to discuss strategies for meeting new challenges. The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) track will focus on HHS CSBG initiatives. It will also highlight best practices related to anti-poverty efforts, performance management, and performance measurement. Sessions will include updates on ROMA Next Generation, Organizational Standards, State and Federal Accountability Measures, and a discussion with the Office of Community Services about their vision for the future of the Network. The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) track will focus on DOE WAP initiatives and grantee management issues. Sessions include updates and discussion of recent DOE WAP policy, program notices, guidance, and future direction of the program.
