                                                                  23rd September 2016

Dear Parents,

It was good to see so many of you at the 'Meet the Teacher' evening - many of you commented about how useful it was - thank you for your kind comments and constructive feedback. Thank you also, for the returned questionnaires; if you have not completed one, please do so as your feedback and ideas are valuable to us.

If you look at the calendar, you will see there are Open Class events where your child can take you to their classroom and show you their work.  The first one is on Thursday 20th October 3.30-4.30 pm so I do hope you can join us.

We are also getting ready for our Macmillan Coffee Afternoon on Friday - please send in cakes for this wonderful charity event and I do hope you will come along, partake in some cake and coffee and stay for the AGM of Winifriends.  Also on Friday, we will having our photos taken so please send your child in winter uniform. Preschool are welcome to join us at 9.15 am if this is not their usual day, for that first treasured, traditional photo!

Another busy week ahead! Have a lovely weekend.

Kind regards
Jan Caddy

Come and join the Winifriends' Parent Staff Association AGM at 4pm on Friday 30th September. We are looking for volunteers to join the committee as Chair, Secretary, Treasurer or general members. We meet periodically to arrange fundraising events and review funding applications three times a year. Although minutes are taken, committee meetings are informal and an excuse to have a biscuit or two! It's very rewarding to be part of the committee - it feels great to contribute to our children's school experience, make new friends and even learn new skills along the way!
Please use the  link  or return the attached slip indicating your availability for the meeting. The agenda is  linked  and we anticipate that the AGM should last less than one hour.
We look forward to seeing you at the cake sale and AGM.
Kind regards
Manuela Horwood
Chair, Winifriends
