The Fun Pasta Fundraiser will start on Friday, September 30. A packet will come home with your child. This will run through Friday, October 14. Please turn in orders no later than Monday, October 17. Any orders turned in after that will incur a shipping charge of $9.95. Shipping is free on the master order; however, they charge a flat rate shipping fee for any orders after the original. The percentage of profit is 40% if we sell $4000 or less of product. The profit goes up to 50% plus cash amounts if we sell $5000 or over. All online orders only make a 40% profit. Online orders ship free if the order is over $50. All personal online orders ship directly to the home. Please encourage out of town friends and family to order online. This product has a shelf life of at least 24 months so you can stock up the pantry. Pasta also makes fun gifts and stocking stuffers for friends and family during the upcoming holiday season.
Speaking of the holidays, they will be here before we know it. Remember to stock up for your purchases for Thanksgiving dinner and Black Friday shopping. Scrip will NOT be available the week of Thanksgiving as we only have two (2) days of school that week.
The last week to order Scrip before the Christmas holiday will be the week of December 12. Orders will need to be turned in on Monday, December 12 by 10:30 a.m.

Every Tuesday on our library blog, Mrs. Denson is posting links to great articles for parents of reluctant readers. These articles have great ideas for encouraging kids to love reading. Also, on other days of the weeks, she often includes pictures in her posts so that you get a glimpse of your child's day. Here's the link:

Looking for Business Partnership |
We are currently seeking a business partner for the 2016-2017 school year. A partner can be involved in a variety of ways. In the past, partner employees have been guest readers in the classrooms, have given presentations to classes about their business or field, and invited our students to visit them for tours! Some partners have preferred to be involved more on a monetary donation level. From the school side we have made decorations for events such as retirement luncheons and placed our partner's logo or company name on t-shirts and our newsletter for advertising. Our music department has even provided entertainment during the holiday season! We are always open to new ideas and ways to be involved in the community! If you own or manage a business, or know someone who does, and would be interested in partnering with us this year, please contact Gayle Trachsel at
gtrachsel@stpeterjc.org St. Peter Interparish School.
