During Sing & Celebrate, our classes join Rev. Mary Kay and Miss Adell to pray, hear a Bible lesson and sing some fun songs. This year, families are invited to join us for Sing & Celebrate for our four special Family celebrations during the months of September, December, February and May. For the remaining school months, the classes will join Rev. Mary Kay and Miss Adell in smaller groups for their lessons. |

Church Happenings |
Sunday, October 2nd, 2-5 pm
Rev. Mary Kay will be blessing all of our furry (and not so furry) friends at a special celebration in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. In addition to the blessing ceremony, we will have fun filled activities and refreshments for the humans. Special guests and events include: Remmy the German Shepard of the Loudoun County K-9 Unit, the Ashburn Volunteer Fire Department and their Fire Truck, local animal health and beauty providers, and last but not least, a costume party for the 4-legged guests with prizes! So bring your friends, neighbors, and most importantly your critters to St. David's. For those of you who do not have a pet, choose one from the adoption folks who will be joining us.
Candy Tithe
Sunday, November 6th, 9 and 11 am services
Children are encouraged to bring their "tithe" of Halloween Candy to the services on Sunday November 6th. This is a great time to teach what a tithe is and how it serves others. The candy is the donated to Loudoun Interfaith Relief.
