October
Notes from the Principal:

Dear Kirkersville Families!
Now that our MAP testing is over, teachers will have great information to help teach our children.  This is the time to ask your student what they are learning in school.  If he/she says, "nothing", don't let them off the hook.  We are already reading and writing in both grade levels, even if it is with the assistance of the teacher.  We are counting, ordering and comparing numbers.  It is a great time for our students to grow and learn.  Thank you for all your support from home.  We couldn't do it without you.

Staff Spotlight
Kirkersville going above and beyond!

  • Mr. Hinkle and Mrs. Keller have done an outstanding job assisting students and teachers on our MAP testing.  They, in addition to the classroom teachers, have given students the skills to work with new technologies!  Thank you.

  • Another hard working pair is Mrs. Janiszewski and Mrs. Antill.  They greet students that are dropped off every morning with huge smiles .  We are lucky to have these two ladies giving students a great start to the day while building relationships with parents. Job well done!
