It's hard to imagine the 2017-2018 school year already, but for parents interested in tuition assistance next year, the application process will again be through FACTS.

Parents who already have a FACTS account will use their same username and password to apply for tuition assistance. To sign up for a FACTS account or to sign in and start applying for tuition assistance for the next school year, click here.

A few reminders:

The application is available online only, no other application method is available.
The application may be completed in English or Spanish.
The $28 application fee is paid online only.

Go to the CJ website to learn more about applying for tuition assistance or if you have any questions. Applications are due to FACTS by Dec. 1. As always, please contact us if you need additional assistance - we are happy to help.

Late Start Schedule

When CJ operates under Schedule A: 9:37 on Late Start block days, the building still opens at 7 a.m. Students arriving before the start of classes should report to the cafeteria until they are released by the supervisor.

Spirit Week

Spirit Week gets underway Monday, Sept. 26 with a military/patriotic theme and wraps up Friday, Sept. 30 with CJ Spirit Day. For a complete list of daily themes and dress code guidelines visit this link.

CJ Freshman Mixer

Celebrate the Class of 2020 at the CJ Freshman Mixer on Saturday, Sept. 24 from 7:30-10 p.m. in the CJ courtyard and cafeteria. The cost is $4.

Yearbook Sales

Order your yearbook early and receive great deals. If you order before October 7 , the book costs only $55 and you can receive a special deal on personalization icons. Prices go up later in the year. Mock Trial - Volunteer Attorney Advisors Needed

Mock Trial is sponsored by the Ohio Center for Law-Related Education. Teams compete in late January in the District Competition. From the Chaplain's Office

Next week, we will have our Senior class Mass ( Monday ) and our Junior class mass (Tuesday) during an extended homeroom period. This is an opportunity for the individual classes to gather together for the Eucharist. We will ask the Lord to continue to send forth abundant blessings upon our Seniors as they look forward to the future and upon our Juniors as they take on more leadership roles at CJ. Marianist News

This weekend, two Marianist brothers will profess perpetual vows as Marianists. Over the course of several years, they have discerned that they will commit to being Marianists for the rest of their lives. Sr. Nicole, Fr. Bob and several lay Marianists from the CJ faculty and staff will travel to St. Louis to attend this special Eucharist and celebration. I invite you to add your prayerful support for Bro. Michael and Bro. Brandon as they say "Yes" to the Lord's calling. Please pray for vocations to the Marianist sisters, brothers and priests and to the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.

There are many service opportunities available to students right now. Students can check these at home by going to the Student News site and clicking on the Ministry & Service tab. They must then sign up in Ministry & Service. Encourage your child to complete their service early in the semester.

College Help Sessions for Seniors

Charlene Wheeler and Emily Saunders will help seniors with any questions they have about the college application process (Common app, letters of recommendation, Family Connection, FERPA, and more) from 3 - 4 p.m. on the following dates: Sept. 28; Oct. 5, 18, 25 and Nov. 8.

Financial Aid / FAFSA Workshop

October 12 | 6 p.m.

The CJ Guidance Department will host a Financial Aid/FAFSA Workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 6 p.m. in the CJ cafeteria. Wright State University will present at this two-part workshop. Each part will last about an hour. More information about this workshop will be sent out closer to the event. We will send out a list of items that parents and seniors need to bring to the FAFSA portion. Please, mark your calendar and plan to attend this important meeting.

The St. Albert Youth Ministry is looking for donations of gently used homecoming and prom dresses and accessories.
