Support the PTSA by going to Arby's in Tuckernuck Square on Tuesday, October 25th from 5-9 pm for our October Spirit Night! Make sure to mention the PTSA as you buy your meal.
Spirit wear can be purchased at the Tiger's Den (school store by Cafeteria 3) during lunch on Thursdays and Fridays during lunch. Also make sure to check out our new white and pink shirts, both are perfect for the Pink Out (October 14th) and White Out (November 4th) football games.

Parents: To volunteer for the PTSA, please fill out this form. There are several options

one of which will likely suit your interest and schedule. There are separate forms to volunteer during lunch and after school at the Tiger's Den 2 (the school store by Cafe 3) or after school at the Tiger Shack (the school concessions store).
Tiger's Trust Notice
Individuals and families assist the PTSA by annually contributing generously to its main fundraiser, the Tiger's Trust campaign, now in its 11th year. Parents and students are asked for a one time, tax-deductible contribution to the J. R. Tucker PTSA. All contributions used to benefit Tucker students, teachers, and staff. Please remember, no amount is too small. Several companies in the immediate Richmond area offer matched contributions, so please list your employer to potentially double your contribution. If you would like to make a donation, please print and fill out the donation form from the website, place your contribution in an envelope marked "Tiger's Trust" and send it to your student's homeroom teacher or send an email to the Tiger's Trust chairperson at
[email protected].
Membership
Each year Parents, Teachers, and Students are asked to join or renew the PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association). This is an important way to demonstrate to our State and National PTA / PTSA organizations that our Tucker school community values the relationship between its members. We are hoping to increase our membership this year as we lag behind our local schools by significant numbers. Please join! It is only $8 per individual member or $25 maximum per family. A hefty portion of this fee stays right here at Tucker to help our school. PTSA sponsored programs include: After Prom Party (Party All Night), Baccalaureate / Senior Send-Off, Bookstore and Spirit Wear, Grants, Hospitality, PTSA Scholarships, Student Aid and Community Outreach, PTSA Website, E-Blasts, and Newsletter Communications, and more. Fill out the membership form and drop it off in the main office, marked "PTSA Membership," to join today.

Hospitality
The PTSA Hospitality has various events around the year. Currently, we need donations for the front office candy jar, which is year-round. To donate, please drop off candy in the front office with a label marked "Hospitality." We also need
student volunteers to stuff bus driver bags on October 17, during Bus Driver Appreciation Week. To volunteer for Bus Driver Appreciation Week, please email
