I've never been much of the kind of person that went out and "walked" for a cause, and maybe you haven't either. Whether you have or haven't, I'm personally asking each of you to join us as we walk/run (whatever your preference) in support of the Mario Lemieux foundation as a personal tribute to our past President, Mike Toney and his volunteer career supporting the PHRA. It's a great cause, only takes a couple of hours to support, and really makes a statement, I think, to the value we perceive in volunteerism as well as to remember a great colleague and friend.
Mike's wife is rounding up some support as well and I'd personally like to see 100 of us, and maybe our kids, family and friends, wearing our "Moving for Mike" PHRA T-shirts on the 6 o'clock news. We can help make a difference in other people's lives, and this is one small opportunity to do so!
