Can you smell it yet, that crispness of clean dry air from the north permeating the Georgia-Florida border? Fall is upon us and as the more moderate temps and the leaves will start falling again here in Miami so then the sweaters and fur coats and boots hit the sand and pavement. So get a jump start come out and try some of our current Fall favorites. Lots of wine geeks like us are frequently asked a challenging question: What's your favorite wine? Or, as was launched my way just yesterday from the lips of an eager wine neophyte friend...what's your favorite wine in your shoppe? Now, I have a natural inclination to deflect that question and rephrase their question to which is my favorite child.how you could ask something so wrong!!!.....But in my most candid moments I readily admit that this is posturing, posturing on the part of us geeks! Most of us really do have a "favorite". When it comes to red or white wine, but it also changes with the seasons. So as the temps dip here in south Florida and our wardrobes add fur coats over bikini's and Uggs in place of flip flops these are some of the wines we are craving!
