  • In partnership with Silver Hill Hospital, Wilton Library now offers twelve Mental Health To-Go Kits that can each be checked out for three weeks. The kits include books, CDs or DVDs and information sheets on a variety of topics. 
  • Calling all makers & DIYers! Our 2nd Innovation Day is a celebration of making, creating, and demonstrating. People of all ages can discover, dabble and do-it-yourself! We are seeking individuals, local businesses and organizations to share their knowledge, skills or inventions at our October 22 event:  find out more

THIS WEEKEND! Awesome Autumn Book Sale Fundraiser
Friday, September 23 from 12 - 6pm
Saturday, September 24 from 10am - 5pm
Sunday, September 25 from 1 - 5pm (all items half-priced)
Everyone is covered in this fundraiser - from tots to teens in the Brubeck Room with selections from board books and picture books to young adult novels; to a full Book Cellar featuring a large assortment of items including fantasy and science fiction, bestsellers and nonfiction; gently used, new, collectible, rare books, DVDs, CDs, books on CDs. Sunday everything is half-priced. Proceeds benefit Wilton Library.   More info
Senior Center Book Discussion

Judson Scruton leads a discussion of a selection of poems from The Poets Laureate Anthology edited by Elizabeth Hun Schmidt. The Poets Laureate Anthology includes works of the 43 'poets laureate' of the United States from the inception of the position in 1937 until the book's publication in 2010. Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence Exhibition & Reception -- Deborah Bonnell

September brings Deborah Pierce Bonnell to the Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence program. As an artist focused on the natural landscape, Bonnell reinterprets scenes that CT impressionists found at Weir Farm 100 years ago. Her mediums include oil on canvas, watercolor, monoprints and encaustics. More info & register
Breast Cancer Survivors' Support Group Speaker Event

Post-treatment breast cancer survivors are invited to join in this monthly support group led by Nina Marino, LCSW. This meeting will feature speaker Jessica Lipshutz, MS, Certified Genetic Counselor at Norwalk Hospital's Smilow Breast Health Center, who will discuss "Genetics and Breast Cancer: Who is at Risk? No Letting Go Film Screening & Discussion

Join us for a screening of the award-winning film, No Letting Go, based  on one family's journey to understand and cope with the erratic behavior and emotional instability of their son.  Randi Silverman, the film's writer, producer and mother of the featured family, will lead a Q&A session. Yellow Dress Performance
Thursday, September 29 @7pm
The Yellow Dress is a dramatic play based on stories of dating violence. The carefully constructed program stimulates thought-provoking discussion about relationships. Audiences are clearly moved by the story of a young woman who warmly tells of her relationship that begins as young love, full of passion and promise, and ends in tragedy. The Yellow Dress is developed and produced by Deana's Educational Theater (DET). Mature content; recommended for ages 13+. This program is co-sponsored by Wilton Teen PeaceWorks, Wilton Domestic Violence Task Force and Wilton Library. More info & register
