MEET THE AMBASSADORS
Ambassador Mission
To welcome new members to the Chamber, to encourage new member participation in networking and promotion opportunities, and to represent the Chamber at community functions and new business openings.
Ambassador Commitment
As the public relations arm of the Midway Chamber of Commerce, Ambassadors are often the first contact for new and prospective members. Encouraged to select the most effective activities to meet their personal and professional objectives. All of the activities can be conveniently worked into your schedule.
Julie Novak
How long have you been a member of the Midway Chamber of Commerce?
Over 10 years.
What aspect of being a member do you find the most beneficial?
I value the relationships and connections made through the Chamber. If I am looking for a need- personal or business- or if one of my clients needs a referral for a service, I look to the Chamber membership to find that person or service. I greatly value the relationships I have within the Chamber.
Why did you decide to join the Ambassador Committee?
The opportunity to make a connection in person with a new or renewing member is invaluable. To promote the Chamber, and my own business, is a great opportunity. Chamber members really appreciate the personal touch and it sets our Chamber apart from other. The Ambassador Committee is a great "adds value."
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
Spending time with family (preferably outdoors), walking the dogs and drinking red wine.

Dear St. Paul love letter artwork coming to CEZ
Renowned Minnesota artist Karl Unnasch will transform a monumental water tower in St. Paul's Creative Enterprise Zone (CEZ) into a love letter to the city. This iconic reminder of our rich industrial past will become a self-illuminated "lighthouse" celebrating the rejuvenation efforts underway in the area and highlight what citizens love about St. Paul.
To transform the water tower located at 755 Prior Ave N, next to the soon to be opened Can Can Wonderland, Unnasch and his team are engaging the community to collect inspiration in the form of text, images, video, drawings, and sketches to be displayed on the water tower, based on the theme "Dear Saint Paul, __
(you fill in the blank)___."
The community is asked to submit their letters, images, and ideas with the following questions in mind:
- Where do you hang out in St. Paul?
- Where do you take your kids to have fun in St. Paul?
- What places do you brag about in St. Paul?
- Where do you bring out-of-towners who want to see St. Paul?
- What do you like about your neighborhood?
- What's the best hidden secret in St. Paul?
- What is your favorite place in St. Paul
Describe your favorite St. Paul event.Ideas can be submitted on the Dear St. Paul Facebook page, by using #DearStPaul on Instagram and Twitter or sending us an email. Additionally, you can download and print the flyer and mail it to CEZ, 2314 University Ave. W, Suite 28. St. Paul, MN 55114. Ideas will be collected through the fall of 2016 and the water tower is scheduled to be completed by the spring of 2017.
