The Search Committee met on September 7 to review the applications of the most promising candidates from the dozens of educators interested in the Head of School position. After a careful review the committee decided to interview seven semi-finalists. 

 

On September 17 and 18, the Committee interviewed the semi-finalists on-campus and then selected three candidates to come to Emma Willard School for a two-day campus visit in late September and October. These visits will include open opportunities for students, faculty and staff, parents, and alumnae to meet each candidate. You will be invited to provide feedback to the Search Committee on each candidate via a simple on-line survey. 

 

The schedule for the candidates' two-day visits is as follows: 

 

Candidate 1: September 29-30

Sept. 29: 4:30- 5:15 p.m. reception with alumnae

Sept. 30: 7:45-8:15 a.m. coffee with parents

 

Candidate 2: October 4-5

Oct. 4: 4:30- 5:15 p.m. reception with alumnae

Oct. 5: 7:45-8:15 a.m. coffee with parents

 

Candidate 3: October 13-14

Oct. 13: 4:30- 5:15 p.m. reception with alumnae

Oct. 14:  7:45-8:15 a.m. coffee with parents
