Passion and Politics, Piety and Pathos in Vergil's The Aeneid with Gerald Weiss

Join Dr. Gerald Weiss as he leads this four-part adult literature seminar. At a time of turmoil around the world when we are suffering from terror, violence, displacement, and political struggles for power, it might profit us to revisit Vergil's The Aeneid and discover the beauty and passion of his poetry as well as its relevance for today. More info & register

In this very personal and tragic documentary, filmmaker Kurt Kuenne passionately tells the story of his close friend Dr. Andrew Bagby who was murdered by his girlfriend Dr. Shirley Turner. Turner fled the US to her Canadian home with Andrew's parents in pursuit when it was discovered that Shirley was carrying Andrew's baby. Grief expert Fran Dorf will join Megan Smith-Harris for the discussion after the film. More info & register
