Chapel is in the Immanuel Gym Tomorrow



New this year...Your child received special chapel envelopes at registration .  The first quarter chapel offerings are designated to go to th e Malawi Orphan Care Project Food Program.

The Feeding Program:
The Children come to the Orphan Project four days a week
for a noon meal.

Their meal usually consists of:  nsima, a thick paste-like food made with corn flour, greens,  mustard greens, pumpkin leaves, spinach or any other 'green'  which is boiled with onions and tomatoes, if some are available
soya meat, a textured, vegetable protein and on occasion, 1/2 of a
hard-boiled egg. 

The current cost of feeding about 300 orphans one meal is $150.
That means that it only costs about $0.50 per person.
$10 will feed about 20 children!

Book Fair & Family Fun Night

Book Fair!!!
Friday, October 7th, 2016
5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

This years Book Fair will be held for ONE NIGHT ONLY in the MUSIC ROOM at the Immanuel Gym.

Our sales goal is $800.
Students will be able to view their book choices after chapel on Wednesday, October 5th.  Students may bring $$ to school for the Book Fair on Wednesday.

Family Fun Night!!!
Activities coincide with the Book Fair
and is sponsored by LLS/PTL.
Friday, October 7th, 2016
5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

6:00 p.m. - Hot dogs and chips will be served int the basement at the Immanuel Campus.
Bouncie House will be set-up for the children on the Playground.
7:00 p.m. - Movie "Zootopia" and popcorn will begin.

All families are Welcome: Infants & Toddlers thru 8th Grade




Banners Update
Remember the banners that the 5th/6th & 7th/8th graders painted last Spring? They had been hanging up along Main Street in Watertown all summer.  Votes on favorites were collected and tallied.

There will be an auction on Friday, October 21st at the Lyon's Pub again this year.  
Refreshments and viewing will be at 5:30 p.m. with awards at 6:00 p.m.  

Once the banners are hung up at the Lyon's Pub (hopefully by the end of September) we will receive an email so everyone can stop by and view them prior to auction day.

Chapel days are regular school days  and your child will be marked tardy if arriving after the 8:00 a.m. bell.  Please remember to dress nicely to show respect to our Lord.

School Hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.   Supervision is provided at both campuses from 7:40 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.  If your children do not ride the bus, please bring them to school after 7:40 a.m. and please pick them up by 3:15 p.m.

Doors will not open until 7:40 a.m. at both campuses.


Lunch Server/Helper Needed

We are still looking for a lunch server to help out on Monday's at the St. Peter's Campus.  If you have an hour and a half once a week to help serve the students lunch we sure could use you.  Please call the school office at 925-3791. Thank you very much!

Trivia Night Is Back!
Saturday

Get your teams together for a 
fun family trivia event!

Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Trivia begins at 7:00 p.m.

The 7th & 8th graders will be providing concessions to help 
pay for their class trip.

Basket raffles and door prizes!

Each team will cost $80 with a maximum of 8 players per team.
