The Salem Witch Trials were "a perfect storm:" a unique convergence of conditions and events that produced something extraordinary throughout New England in 1692. Culminating in the execution of nineteen innocent people, the trials would become a critical turning point in American history and an event that has haunted us ever since.
Join us for a conversation this Sunday with Emerson Baker, Salem State professor of history and author of A Storm of Witchcraft: The Salem Trials and the American Experience. What lessons can we learn from the Salem Witch Trials? How do they apply today?
