MnDOT Joint Partnering Program
Last fall, MnDOT met with contractors who have been involved in the partnering effort to get feedback on the program.  This year, MnDOT would like to continue the discussion on pre-activity meetings, documenting commitments made at weekly meetings, and following through on action items to prevent misunderstandings and claims down the road. MnDOT has asked AGC to help determine which contractors would like to provide feedback to the partnering program.  If you are interested in providing feedback on the joint partnering program, please contact Abbey Bryduck - abryduck@agcmn.org.  As a reminder, the partnering manual is available here on the MnDOT website.
Annual Permit Trip Logging Requirement Changed
Effective September 19, trips made under a MnDOT annual permit will no longer require route pre-approval from MnDOT on individual trips if loads do not exceed 11' wide, 14'6" high or 110' long. This change is designed to help those who have repetitive moves in a short amount of time, eliminating calling or going online for each move. The only requirement is that drivers must check MN511 before they make each move to ensure constraints, such as road projects, are not on their route. Questions should be directed to Ted Coulianos at ted.coulianos@state.mn.us.
