MOVIE TIME

Open to all, and we'd love to have you join us! We'll pick the movie, plus the time and location, closer to September 18. We usually attend the Harkins Shea or Harkins 101, and sometimes discuss the movie afterwards over yogurt, coffee or lunch.

You are always welcome to come even without an RSVP, but if we expect you we can let you know if there are any changes and try to save seats. Sukkot begins at sundown on Sunday, October 16, and ends at sundown on Sunday, October 23.
Our 4:00 p.m. YEP!/FYC gathering will be a specially geared towards kids of all ages.
At 5:15 p.m., the entire congregation is invited to join the fun for a dairy/vegetarian potluck, with singing and games.

Jewish War Veterans of the United States of America (JWV)
The JWV is looking for new members to keep its 120-year old legacy alive. Founded in 1896, JWV is one of the oldest veterans' organizations in America. The JWV is dedicated to upholding America's democratic tradition and fighting bigotry, prejudice, injustice and discrimination of all kinds.  As a national organization, the JWV represents the voice of America's Jewish Veterans on issues related to Veterans' benefits, foreign policy and national security.  JWV also commits itself to the assistance of oppressed Jews worldwide.
As you may know all Veterans organizations are in need of new members. Many of you served proudly in the military and the camaraderie made it a good experience. It doesn't matter in which service you served, just that you have a desire to join a great organization that provides help and comfort to service members in need.
