Reading Workshop
with Miss Susan
Friday, October 7th 9:00 -10a.m.

If you would like to volunteer in the classrooms to read with our students, or would like to know how to help your own child read at home...this workshop is for you. We designed this workshop to give you insight into the reading world of a child and help you become an effective reading helper.  Contact the office if you require childcare.

A Peek Around Campus:
 
This year, our students made 1,000 origami  peace cranes with peace messages written inside to send to the Pearl Harbor Memorial in support of the Sadako and Her Thousand Cranes project on display. 

One very large peace crane was created at the International Peace Day event.
 
 
All Bridges classrooms participated in Peace Day.  Raya Ibrahim carried the Toucan peace flag during the "parade" at the start of the event.
 
 
 4th grade Falcons Nibras, Madeline, Kayla and Connor hold red wiggler worms before going into the new vermicompost (worm compost) bin during Sustainable Studies.
