We are proud to share Connect - a newsletter designed for families of kids with special needs and the service providers who support them. In this newsletter we hope you find information that is relevant to you. We also share in person events where you can meet local families of kids with special needs. Connect is distributed monthly. Youth Drop-In Wheelchair Basketball in Collingwood

World Cerebral Palsy day: October 5, 2016
Like many other organizations around the world, CTN is celebrating World Cerebral Palsy Day on October 5th. Here's how you can get involved.

Do you know of a public space like a school, park or community space that could benefit from improved accessibility? If so, check out Rick Hansen Foundation's Access4All Canada 150 Signature Initiative to learn more about how charitable organizations can apply for a grant to help remove barriers and increase accessibility. Innovative Programs: Therapy in the Park and Fun in the Pool
Outdoor play helps develop of a wide variety of skills, so CTN and its partners took therapy outside this past spring! Click here to read more about our therapy in the park program.
 
Earlier this year, collaboration between CTN and our partners resulted in a very successful pilot of pool therapy (hydrotherapy) offered to CTN families that are receiving preschool physiotherapy in Simcoe County. Click here to read more about the hydrotherapy program .
