Beyond Words: An Icon Retreat

Icons are doorways to the sacred; a stylized art form that is prayed into being.  
Our 2017 icon is, “Protection of the Mother of God” on a 12x12 panel based on an icon from Gabriel Toma Chituc.  

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist, writing an icon with celebrated artist Diane Hamel is a richly rewarding experience. The retreat week will be spent in prayerful learning as you create a beautiful and meaningful icon, with experienced direction, that you can take home and enjoy.

The five-day retreat includes four nights/5 days in a private room with bath, all meals, instruction and materials. Guest rooms are available before and after the planned retreat for $69 per night, including meals. Arrangements for any additional accommodations can be made during registration. Spaces for this annual favorite are limited and fill early - register today!
 

Hold your place with a non-refundable deposit of $100. If deposit is paid before January 13, $495 remains to be paid before arrival.  If deposit is paid after January 13, $530 remains to be paid before arrival.
