Great week of fishing at Convict with quite a few happy anglers. I noticed the lure fishing has picked up, especially with the spoons and jigs. Make sure you get signed up for the Morrison Bonus Derby the weekend of October 28-30. 14 trophy trout will be tagged with values from $1000 to $50. The total cash value will be $2,200.

Catch of the Week:  Angler Jonathan Martinez from Riverside, CA landed this big boy while fishing near the South Shore. It was a 5 pound 2 ounce Rainbow and was caught with a pumpkin mini jig.
