The United States will be be a partner country at the 2017 Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. The summit, to be held in January 2017, is the Gujarati government's biennial investors' summit that brings together global business leaders, investors, corporations, thought leaders and policymakers.
ISRO, India's NASA equivalent, launched a Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle carrying eight new satellites - three each from India and Algeria and one each from the US and Canada - in its first multi-orbital launch, which means it will inject satellites into two separate orbits.
