Superintendent's Message
Stephanie Houston Ed. D.

Our educational system is changing, and CRY-ROP is on the leading edge of the change efforts. I understand that education in the information age is a complex challenge. There is no single recipe or protocols to guarantee success. Outside factors certainly influence outcomes, and experience helps, but the reality is that educating our next generation is complex- and takes the collective work of the entire community for sustained success. At CRY-ROP, we continue to gain momentum by engaging our entire community of educators, K-12 students, career seekers, business partners and parents

Business Speaker & Mentor-
Bloomington High School

Thank you to business partner Ross Vecky from Farmers Insurance for speaking to students of the Business Mentor Program at Bloomington High School.  A Bloomington High School alum, Mr. Vecky has been guest speaking and mentoring students for Mrs. Buckles and Mrs. Hernandez for the last two years.

Once a month Mr. Vecky meets with students that do not have a plan after high school.  Mr. Vecky is passionate about assisting students and demonstrates this by discussing his life experience and inviting other Bloomington High School alumni as guest speakers. Mr. Vecky feels that this helps students find employment that might not require going to college right away. This is a true benefit to students.

Students perform real-life laboratory experiments at local colleges and tour community work place settings, seeing real-work in action.
