Big turnout for Blessing of the Animals!
Many thanks to Bill Carle, Frances Lingrel, Elaine Gilligan and others who helped to make last Saturday such a success with the Blessing of the Animals!
St. Francis would have been proud to see all who came and who received blessings after his ministry.

Parish designated Jubilee Ministry
Our parish has been designated a Jubilee Ministry of The Episcopal Church with regard to our Blessing Bag ministry!
This means we are looked to for leadership in regard to this program with the responsibilities of demonstrating the operation to others, maintaining "how-to" files, acting as a resource center and committing to an annual review of this ministry. Our hope is the national church will support us with a small monetary grant in 2017 in order to expand the Blessing Bag initiative. Congratulations are due to all who have supported and participated in this continuing ministry!

Recognizing our parish ministries
This week we raise up our Sunday School and Nursery by acknowledging Sheria and Gabriella as nursery and Sunday School leaders. Both are prepared to receive our children. Sunday school is very important to our youngsters as they grow into understanding their faith. Please make it a priority to bring your children to church to learn about God and the importance of our Episcopal faith.
