Why Swing Bearing Selection is CRUCIAL for Long Life

E-Crane Quality: Swing Bearing Selection
It has been mentioned that E-Crane uses "Single Row Ball Slewing Rings" by our friendly competition. Let us set the record straight and give you some genuine information on "Slewing Rings" used by E-Crane®.

The single row ball configuration with four point contact raceways is a commonly employed slew bearing for cranes and some material handlers. This design does not meet the E-Crane standards! Therefore E-Crane only uses 'Roller Slewing Rings' with a line contact between roller and raceway.

New Job Story: Mulzer Crushed Stone

After three years of successful operation of their 1500 Series barge mounted E-Crane, Mulzer Crushed Stone ordered their
second barge mounted E-Crane in 2014 for their Shamblin Stone operation in Dunbar, WV.
.
This machine is used for unloading barges of aggregate. The E-Crane unloads the material directly into a hopper, located on an adjacent barge to the E-Crane barge. Because the E-Crane is barge mounted, Mulzer has the flexibility to transport the entire barge unloading system to wherever they need to perform barge unloading operations.
