Join the Superintendent for Coffee With the Community
Friday, October 7, 8:00-9:00 a.m.
Join us! Superintendent Dr. GwenCarol Holmes will host the monthly coffee with the community on Friday, October 7 from 8:00-9:00 a.m. at Starbucks on Sun Valley Road in Ketchum.
The events are meant to be informal opportunities for conversation with the Superintendent. There are no agendas or formal presentations. Participants are encouraged to bring their questions and comments and come and go whenever their schedule allows.

BLOCK Fest
A Free Interactive Event for Families and Children Ages 3-8
Saturday, October 8
Families are invited to learn about early math and science skills at BLOCK Fest, a free educational event on Saturday, October 8 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Community Campus, 1050 Fox Acres Rd, in Hailey.
Children ages 3 to 8 years are invited to participate in the event. Families will move through five different educational and hands-on activities, each designed to help children and parents understand how block play is related to later math competence, as well as exploring the physical world. Space is limited and registration is encouraged.

Trustee Clayton Holds Community Conversation for Zone 4
Blaine County School District Trustee Rob Clayton will hold a conversation with the community on Wednesday, October 12 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
The meeting is for Zone 4 residents.
Zone 4 includes Northeast and West Ketchum, Warm Springs, and areas West of Highway 75 north of Northstar and Northridge subdivision and west of Buttercup and Highway 75.
Trustee Clayton states that the meeting is, "to have a community conversation." The meeting will be held in the library at Hemingway Elementary in Ketchum.

Student Drives in the Fast Lane
Not every student can say they get to drive in the fast lane. Layne Fiscus is a 7th grade student at Carey School who doesn't have a drivers licence yet but has a "licence" to drive at drag race tracks. Layne's next race will be on October 8th in Eagle Idaho. Good Luck Layne!

an appointment has not yet been made by November 9, the Board of County Commissioners will be responsible for making the Zone 3 appointment.
