Dear Reader,
We are heading into our 2nd Anniversary! Or as I like to refer to it, our 2/15 Anniversary. Second year in this location and 15 years in business overall. What a ride it's been.
To reward your amazing support we will have some great deals on selected inventory from the 18th through the end of the month. We're culling now and finding the coolest stuff that's been misplaced or hidden. We'll be planning some other fun things too so stay tuned.
Tonight please join us for a special event. Barbara Brenner was a breast cancer activist and prolific writer and tonight we will be celebrating a book of her collected works. Friends will read selected essays and we'll talk about October issues.
Tomorrow night, Friday, we will host Kerry Cohen with her book Girl Trouble about friendships among women. Her sister provided illustrations and it should be a spirited reading!
On Saturday, with free parking in the Clay Street garage, please come by for a reception for the 8 children's book illustrators we have featured on our walls this month. Meet the illustrators, buy art, buy books, have them signed. Great, unique gift ideas for the holidays and those who appreciate illustration!
And then there are books! Come on in and find something wonderful.
