Dear St. Andrew's Family,

Here are a few reminders for this week:

The Women's Book Study will not be meeting tomorrow due to the County Fair being in town. The next meeting occurs next Friday in the Canterbury room at 9:00 a.m. as they continue their study of Present not Perfect by Shauna Niequist.

The annual BBQ Chicken Fundraiser for the Guadalupe Valley Christian Counseling Center will be held October 16 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, with a drive-thru available in the alley behind the church from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. See Marty Keil for tickets!

Fr Gordon continues his Rector's Forum this Sunday between services at 9:15 a.m. This is your chance to hear more about Fr Gordon's past, his different experiences, and decided on what will be studied in Sunday School moving forward.

Vestry Minutes are posted soon after monthly meetings on the cork board at the receptionist's desk in the office and on the cork board in the Narthex hallway. The minutes remain posted until the next meeting's minutes replace them. These are the best resource to stay informed on what the Vestry discusses and decides each meeting.

The freezer is empty and St. Andrew's is in need of Cookies in the Courtyard! Please consider donating cookies (pre-packaged are welcome!) so that we may enjoy some light refreshments after church on Sundays!

If you have an announcement that needs to be shared with the parish family, please contact the parish office.

Blessings to you all, in the love of Christ,
St. Andrew's Office Staff
