In a game that was completely controlled by a strong defensive line, last Friday our Panthers defeated Beverly Hills High 45-0.  The Panthers (4-0) will now prepare for their game against
Centennial ( C ompton, CA). The Apaches come into the non-league game with a 0-4 record. 



Over the weekend, our boys competed in the Diamond Bar Bull Run Tournament.  Out of 16 teams we placed 5th overall.  During the tournament, we defeated Fullerton 8-7, Royal 13-10, Upland 9-5 and St John Bosco 8-7.

On Wednesday, our players faced Redondo Union, we played hard, but in the end varsity was defeated 5-12 .  In the Bay league match, Matthew Akiyama and Darian Akhavan scored one goal while Cole Allyn led the way with three goals.  Goalie Brandon Soto netted 9 blocks.   


Last Friday, in a Marquee Bay league match up, our Lady Panthers played tough but lost in five to South High.  Over the weekend, they bounced back, taking 2 of 3 games in a home hosted tournament.  During the tournament out Panthers defeated the Santa Fe Chiefs and the Tustin Tillers volleyball team (Tustin, CA).

Tuesday, our Panthers hit the road and to Morningside (Inglewood, CA) and won in straight sets. 

Over the week Peninsula upgraded its record to 6-9 on the year.



 
Girls golf finished in a tie for 9th at the Wilson invitational on Monday with a team score of 338. Lauren Brenizer shot a personal best score of 90 with 2 birdies!
