Dear Patron,

I hope you are busy doing fall festivals and fun things, so this will be short and sweet:

• Please take our annual user survey! Click here or come to the library for a hard copy that you can fill out and return in the book drop. Your input is invaluable, so give it to me straight!

• The amount of passes you can access just shot through the roof! As a Douglas patron, you can now take out passes from Grafton, Upton, Whitinsville, Uxbridge, and Sutton. You'll have to go to the owning library to check out the pass, but you were going to be on the road anyway! See the passes page on our website for more details.

• The Young Scientists Program in November only has 3 spaces left, so now is the time to register your yung'uns if you want them to participate. Email [email protected] for details.

• I know it is short notice, but a local group of writers is taking the initiative to start a writer's group. They will be meeting for the first time tonight (October 6) in the library at 6:00pm! If you want to be part of the leadership of this group or help establish the format future meetings will follow, come on down!
