Lac Courte Oreilles Boys and Girls Club
Hayward, Wisconsin
We are so excited that this project is wrapping up and is now opened to the public. We are thankful that we had the great opportunity to build such a highly anticipated building in their community.

Mille Lacs District II Pow Wow Grounds
The Gii-Ishkonigewag Powwow Grounds has been completed and had their first Pow Wow on July 22 - 24th. The event was a successful one even though the weather was not always cooperative. All three days had a great turnout and we could not be any happier. Thank you MLBO for having us be apart of this project!

Duluth, Minnesota
Duluth Nails and Spa is now open! Located in Miller Hill Mall right by JCPenney. We are overjoyed that this project was so successful.

Bachand Realty Headquarters
Superior, Wisconsin
The Bachand Realty Office Building broke ground in July. We expect the office to be completed by the end of this year.

Waaswaaganing Indian Bowl Living Arts and Cultural Center
Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin
On August 4th, Waaswaaganing had their second Groundblessing Ceremony with a Fundraiser Picnic after to help raise money for the project. It turned out to be a very successful event!

We are seeing a lot of progress with Elder Care and we can't wait for it to wrapped up later this year!

Min No Aya Win
Cloquet, Minnesota
We are happy to announce to that we are working with the Fond du Lac Reservation to help expand their Min No Aya Win Clinic! The new addition will include an additional parking area, new nurse's stations, expanded laboratory department, new exam rooms, new conference room, therapist offices, and specialized area for treatments and staff. Additional project scope includes a dental renovation, expansion of several laboratories, offices, multi-purpose room and a coatroom for staff.

Empire Block
Superior, Wisconsin
Empire Block Historic Rehabilitation project was proposed to conform to the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties and Guidelines for Rehabilitating Historic Buildings, as well as related guidance from Technical Preservation Services of the National Park Service (SOI Standards and Guidelines). All rehabilitation work under this Project was to adhere to these specifications and the guidelines of the Secretary of the Interior governing same. Empire Block Historic Rehabilitation project had a scope that included historically accurate new window replacement, as well as rehabilitation of the exterior facade back to the original design of the late 1800's. An extensive interior rehabilitation design that included main level retail and 2nd and 3rd floor living spaces was also a large part of MGA's charge, as well as a
list of general repairs to the property including carpentry, painting, roofing, lead abatement or lead hazard reduction, masonry and concrete work.

Tim had a great summer! The company team baseball did great and had a good season. Tim has been doing some home improvements as well and can't wait to see the finish work! The bowling season has started and he is excited to be the manager again this year.

Terry had the opportunity to visit Seattle, WA in May while attending the NCARB Annual Meeting. Terry was able to take in the city and visit The Space Needle, a fish market and the Frank Gehry museum!

Nicole R.
Nicole's summer was jam packed with travel and adventure. On May 27th, Nicole was in Las Vegas bowling in the USBC's Women's Open. Her and her team didn't take first place, but still placed well. In June, Nicole ran her 6th Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon. It was a hot and humid day but she crossed the finish line! On July 14th, Nicole also ran the Park Point 5 Miler. She has also spent her summer playing softball at the Buffalo House with her coed team and hitting the links for a few scholarship golf events.

GaoChy's summer was great! She spent this summer going to many family events - from birthday parties to family reunion camping trips. In her spare time, she has been getting back into lettering again and photography. She hopes to wrap up some projects that have been put on hold!

Erik had an eventful season. On Easter he proposed to the love of his life, Lynn W., and looks forward to being married next Summer. He took some time off in June to explore the boundary waters where he canoed, portaged, and ate some delightful walleye. He enjoyed several activities including the Duluth Symphonic Winds Community Band and softball at The Sunset. He looks forward to many more adventures both at work and at home.

This summer has been incredible. Ashley has been able to learn and experience so much by working and living in Duluth this summer. Waking up next to the water never gets old; she truly understands the fascination with Duluth. She spent most of her weekends outdoors hiking, biking, and camping. The other weekends not spent outdoors, she was catching up with family or planning her sister's wedding. This summer is one for the books!

Cory F.
Cory Franzwa is a St. Cloud native. After graduating, he moved to Duluth to attend Lake Superior College - where he completed his AAS degree in Integrated Manufacturing Engineering CADE Technology. He currently resides in Duluth with his girlfriend Emily and their dog Taffy. In the summer, Cory enjoys racing BMX and in the winter, he enjoys snowboarding. Cory has been racing BMX and snowboarding since he was six years old and has stuck with them ever since. Cory and his brother, Eric, compete in both sports at a national level and hope to continue doing so in the future. In Cory's spare time, he enjoys drawing, especially houses and cabins. He has always had a strong interest in design and loves to learn about all of the different and unique creations that people come up with. Cory has always admired how the mind could come up with so many amazing ideas. Cory is excited to start working with Meyer Group Architecture and can't wait to start this journey!

Duluth Huskies Game
On July 28th, Meyer Group Architecture went to the Duluth Huskies for our summer company outing. It was a great game, great food and beautiful weather for our outing.
We all had a blast at the game!

FISHING TRIP
Two boats, one team. On August 19, Meyer Group along with some clients and friends had the opportunity to go out on Lake Superior with Captain Paul and Captain Rob of Lake Superior Fishing! MGA caught a total of 29 Lake Trouts. What a great event to wrap up the summer with!
