Waitlist Littles at Sanofi Genzyme

On September 14th, our friends at Sanofi Genzyme hosted an event for eight children on our waitlist. Sanofi Genzyme employees served as "Bigs for the Day" and were paired with Littles waiting to be matched with Bigs in our program. Together they engineered towers with marshmallows and spaghetti, ate pizza, and learned about each other by playing "Human Bingo." Thank you Sanofi Genzyme for showing our waitlist Littles a great time and for exposing them to fun STEM activities! Click here to learn more about our MySTEM program.

THANK YOU to our Donors

We depend on the generosity of our donors to ensure our mentoring programs continue to thrive. We received the following grants in September:

Brunch For Big Brothers Big Sisters at Blackstone National Gold Club

Looking for a new place to try for brunch? Now through October 16, 15% of your bill for Sunday Brunch (8am-1pm) at Blackstone National Golf Club will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass/ Metrowest if you mention us! Be sure to pay them a visit at  227 Putnam Hill Road in Sutton, MA.

 The Rodman Ride for Kids

On September 24th, over 120 friends of BBBS CM/MW participated in the Rodman Ride for Kids. Our biggest fundraiser of the year, our goal is to raise $110,000 through the event. We are very close! While the Ride is over, we have until November to continue fundraising toward this goal. If you have not yet, please click on a team below to make a donation to support us! Thank you to all who participated! This is shaping up to be our most successful Ride yet. Click here to see photos from the Ride!

Welcome Back Site-Based Bigs and Littles!

We love September. Why? Because our site-based programs start up again! Our site-based mentoring programs match Bigs from local colleges or corporate groups with Littles at area schools or after-school clubs. While our Bigs and Littles keep in touch over the summer, they formally reunite in September with the start of the new school year.
