Please join the DC Chamber of Commerce in partnership with AOBA, ASAE, Consortium of Universities, DCBIA, HAWDC, and the Washington Parking Association for a briefing on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at 8:30am to learn more about the Employer Mandate.  Together, the DC business community drafted this bill as an alternative proposal to the D.C. Council's Universal Paid Leave Act of 2015.  "The Employer Mandate" would allow businesses to administer their own paid leave programs without creating a new government entitlement program; provides employees with 100% income replacement for their time-off, and does not place an additional tax on businesses. We hope you will join us and your peers for this engaging and informational discussion.

If you are interested in learning more about the employer mandate or how you can engage on this issue, please register to attend the briefing   by October 5, 2016, at  http://bit.do/UPLA-Employer-Mandate  . Please feel free to share with other employers who may be interested as we want to outreach to the broader business community.
