Globe and Mail - Wood Buffalo National Park was named to UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1983 because of its outstanding natural significance. Now, some advocacy groups, including Y2Y, say that status could be at risk.

Science News

Christian Science Monitor - Scientists from the Wildlife Conservation Society used satellite and survey data to conclude that human interference has led to a 10 percent decline in wilderness on Earth over the last few decades.

PLoS ONE  - The goal of this study was to emphasize the importance of using a proper tool to model connectivity with key information such as behavioural and dispersal ecology data of the target species.
