The homes are being constructed in Habitat's Northstone Subdivision in Hickory and feature innovative sustainable technology, keeping utility payments low, building affordability into the lifetime of the house, and setting the standard for the future of affordable housing. Prices start from the mid-$140's. To date, two "market rate" homes have been sold. Habitat will begin construction of two additional homes in the coming months.
