Fall Fest Is Just Around the Corner!
With the changing of the seasons comes the final reminder that LOHV's 27th Annual Fall Fest is almost here! On Sunday, October 9th, the Villa will be bursting with fun and exciting fall festivities sure to please everyone. Our Fall Fest is a unique event-with 3 dinner seatings, a craft fair, cash and basket raffle, and bake sale all rolled into one! Every dollar raised goes to the Sr. Helen Scasny, SC Benevolent Fund, which provides assistance for our residents

Dates and times are as follows:
Tuesday, Nov. 8th, from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM
Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 9th-11th, from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM
Saturday, Nov. 12th, from 9:00 AM until Noon

September Birthday Bash
We would like to thank Mayor Stan Koci, Vice-Mayor Paula Miszak, and Councilwoman Marilyn Zolata, who visited LOHV to celebrate our residents' September birthdays. They also presented resident Mary with a special proclamation celebrating her 95th birthday. Congratulations, Mary!
Our warmest wishes go out to all LOHV residents celebrating birthdays this month.
LOHV Carnival Afternoon Caps Off National Assisted Living Week
LOHV marked National Assisted Living Week with special activities and entertainment. Residents enjoyed Happy Hour and a lunch outing, as well as musical performances from the Scimitars Band and Heart to Heart. Later in the week, residents and staff came together in our Activity Center for a Carnival Afternoon of fun and games complete with popcorn and cotton candy.
LOHV Celebrates the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul

Thank you to Sister Regina Kusnir for conducting the Mission In-Service celebrating the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul. In the words of the Great Apostle of Charity: "Let all things be done with charity."
