“Over the last fifteen years Michal Yakir has created a new and exciting complete model of the plant kingdom as related to homoeopathy. Being both a botanist and an experienced teacher of homoeopathy her evolution based system is by far the most sophisticated and precise method developed so far. This seminar is a must for any homoeopath interested in learning to use the plant remedies. Highly recommended”.

“I have had an opportunity to learn from Michal Yakir her novel understanding of plants from development point of view. It makes a lot of sense to me and has changed my outlook towards plants. I am using her ideas in my practice with excellent results. She has made the plant kingdom very understandable by her simple yet deep understanding of them based on the concept of evolution of plants. It is indeed a very fascinating and a practical work. It gives an additional dimension to our understanding of known plants and also helps us prescribe some yet unknown plants with confidence. It is a very extensive work which can help us prescribe more efficiently in our daily homoeopathic practice. It compliments all that we know about plants from other teachers like Sankaran and Scholten. I would recommend every serious homoeopath to learn it as it will prove to be a useful tool in helping us help our patients”.

Michal's book 'The systematic table of plants" now published (April 2017)
It is only once the entire Materia Medica is projected onto the botanical evolutional axes that its full implication is revealed. Alike the added meaning the alphabet letters acquire when arranged in a specific order, forming a word or a sentence. When the Materia Medica is read according to the developmental order of the plant kingdom, it becomes an elaborate record that describes the stages of human development and evolution, on many levels.
Plants can be classified according to their evolutionary stage, thus creating a two-dimensional table, allowing - similar to the mineral kingdom - to prescribe common as well as rare plant remedies according to the understanding of the case location in this table of development.
The 2-day-seminar on the table of plants will cover the entire table scheme, present, in a methodical way, a comprehensive perspective of its properties, logic, columns and rows, and delve into its Materia Medica and its practical use in the clinic, with many (short) examples of cases.
We will go over of each of the column themes in details, with cases to demonstrate it
About Michal Yakir
Working as a Homeopath over 25 years, Michal has been developing her system of the plant table.
“A botanist and a models ecologist in my past, and an avid gardener nowadays, I was intrigued by the homeopathic implications of the dynamic order found in nature, particularly in the plant kingdom. Investigating the question for many years, adding clinical observation, late-night studies, new homeopathic ideas and work with colleagues - all were synthesized with my own botanical, psychological, and Kabbalistic understanding. The integration of all this data led to the development of the Plant Table that exposes the wondrous order of the plant kingdom”.
Other than that, Yakir has completed a PhD (with collaboration of G. Vithoulkas and Prof Z. Bentwich) in the Hadassah Hospital, Jerusalem University, on the effect of homeopathic treatment in PMS. She has taught homeopathy for the last 25 years, is a past chairwoman of the Israeli association for homeopathy and the editor of the IACH Association Homeopathic Journal.
She has been teaching her "Plant Table" system in Israel over 12 years. In the last few years whe has been teaching around the globe (from Germany, Holland, Belgium, to Australia and slovakia and more).
Her book "Wondrous Order – the systematic table of plants" was translated into English and German, was published by Narayana Publication April 2017.
Come and hear Michal speak about her massive body of work - it will be a far deeper experience than hearing it second hand from anyone else, I'm sure.

I have to cover the cost of Michal's flight, accommodation and teaching fees. As a gesture of goodwill, providing the number of attendees for the weekend is above 30, I will refund £50 per person who attends (within 14 days of the course running though hopefully I can do it beforehand).
Just as we use the concepts of mineral order and its relation to human pathology, we can use the botanical systematics evolutional order to construct an order in our Materia medica plants remedies.
Plants are the source of nature’s ability to evolve and develop, and as such can describe human development and assist its progress. Once we assemble every family in the homeopathic Materia Medica - “as if one remedy”, and project it onto the botanical evolutional axes, then, by interpreting it according to its location in the table – the Materia Medica`s full implication is revealed: like a book that its pages put in order, and a whole story can be read, Like the alphabet acquired meaning when arranged by the spoken word order – so does the Materia Medica, when read according to the developmental order of the plant kingdom, gets more extensive meaning. Not only does it parallel stages of human development and Ego construction, it reveals a continuous historical record of mankind evolution and progress.
The Table refers to the challenges and obstacles met during the developmental journey of the Ego from birth to old age, from a primal stage of union and oneness, to an advanced stage of individuality, while learning and absorbing the lessons of the feminine and the masculine elements. The table columns describe individuation stages while the rows form maturation levels in the column. This provides physiological, emotional, mental and spiritual content to each family of plants, whereas a single remedy describes only certain variations of the family themes. Every column and row has its identifying themes, and every Order and family in it has also a more specific themes. All very clear once the basic motion of the table is understood.
The Plant Table is a very practical tool as it explains the traits of groups of plants, of small remedies and of new proving.
Cases can be better understood by viewing it through the table, and the homeopathic prescription improved.
In the 2 day seminar we will delve methodically into the depths of the table, go over all the columns and rows traits, and using some case studies we will learn of the table basic properties - the main themes in every column and row, and of some specific Families and Orders (Magnoliales, Nymphaeales and more) - and how to use it in our daily practice.
