I-35 and I-435 interchange weekend lane and ramp closures Oct. 7-10
The Kansas Department of Transportation and project contractor GIC will close the following lanes and ramps at the I-35 and I-435 interchange at various times from Friday, Oct. 7, to Monday, Oct. 10, weather permitting.
I-35 AND I-435 LOOP RAMP
- Northbound I-35 to westbound I-435 loop ramp closed for bridge epoxy overlay work on westbound I-435 from 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, to 5 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 10.
- MARKED DETOUR: Northbound I-35 to 95th Street exit, through left turns at the diverging diamond interchange back onto southbound I-35 to access westbound I-435 ramp. See map below.
NORTHBOUND I-35
- Two left lanes of northbound I-35 with lane shift at I-435 closed overnight for bridge form removal work from 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 7 and 8, to 5 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 8 and 9.
WESTBOUND I-435
- Two left lanes of westbound I-435 closed from Quivira Road to I-35 for pavement marking work from 8 p.m. on Friday-Sunday, Oct. 7-9, to 5 a.m. on Saturday-Monday, Oct. 8-10.
- Left lane of westbound I-435 closed from Quivira Road to I-35 for bridge epoxy overlay work on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Right lane of westbound I-435 closed from Pflumm Road to I-35 for bridge epoxy overlay work on Sunday, Oct. 9, from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
EASTBOUND I-435
- Left lane of eastbound I-435 closed from Santa Fe Trail Drive to I-35 for bridge epoxy overlay work from 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8.
- Two left lanes of eastbound I-435 closed from K-10 to U.S. 69 for bridge epoxy overlay work from 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, to 5 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 10. Traffic will enter a lane shift around work at the bridge over I-35.
- Lackman Road to eastbound I-435 entrance ramp closed for bridge epoxy overlay work from 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9, to 5 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 10.
- MARKED DETOUR: Southbound I-35 to 119th Street exit, via left turns through interchange back onto northbound I-35 to access eastbound I-435. See map below.
