LFHS Art Club Celebrates Completion of Art Mural Project! |
LFHS Art Club was honored when asked to participate in the mural wall painting project located under the viaduct at the corner of McKinley and Illinois. The project was a collaboration between the LFHS Art Club, Metra, the City of Lake Forest, and CROYA.
LFHS students were thrilled to create a beautiful mural for the public, while spreading an important and positive message to the community about train safety. The students felt validated by residents' feedback -- and there were numerous drivers who stopped to thank them each time they came out to work on the project. They are looking forward to partnering with the City of Lake Forest, Metra and CROYA in the future.
